Fethiye
Need Ring Recovery in Fethiye?
Çalış Sunset Strip, the Harbour, and the Hillside Rock Tombs — Covering the Bay and the Coves.
Fethiye sits at the head of a huge natural bay studded with pine-covered islands, its town climbing the hill behind the marina under the gaze of the ancient Lycian rock tombs cut into the cliff. A ring can be lost here in wildly varying environments: in the pebbles at Çalış during the sunset swim, on the pontoons of the marina, in the labyrinthine old bazaar streets below the tombs, or during the most iconic Fethiye moment of all — stepping off a gulet into the water at Butterfly Valley. Ring Seekers covers every part of it.
Operating Across Fethiye
Fethiye is a working Turkish town as much as a tourist destination, which gives us year-round local infrastructure and intimate knowledge of the bay's routines. The town itself clusters around the harbour and the marina, with Çalış spreading three kilometres north along the coast, Ölüdeniz over the ridge to the south, and the 12 Islands — Şövalye Island and the Gemiler anchorages — accessible by boat from the marina piers.
We mobilise from a town base and reach Çalış, the harbour, the old bazaar, and the 12 Islands tour piers within the usual local window. For losses that happened on a gulet or day-boat trip to the bay's outer anchorages, timing depends on the boat's schedule.
We serve all areas of Fethiye, including:
- Çalış Beach and the sunset promenade
- The Fethiye harbour front (Kordon)
- Ece Saray Marina and the yacht piers
- The old bazaar (Paspatur) and Hamam Sokak
- The Lycian rock tombs of Amyntas
- The Babataşı promenade
- Fethiye castle walk
- 12 Islands day-tour embarkation points
- Şövalye Island and Günlüklü cove
- Hillside villa developments above the town
- Hotel beach frontages along Çalış
- And everywhere else across Fethiye bay
Common Search Locations in Fethiye
Fethiye loses rings across four very different environments: the broad Çalış beach strip, the marina and harbour, the dense old bazaar, and the boat-accessed coves that feature in every gulet day trip.
Çalış Beach & the Sunset Strip
Çalış runs several kilometres north from Fethiye town in a broad pebble-and-sand strip. It's famous for its long, flat view and for being one of the few spots on the coast where you can watch the sun set into the Aegean. Rings come off during the sunset swim window, at the bar-lined promenade, and during sunbed transitions on the all-inclusive frontages. The substrate shifts along the length — coarser pebble at the south, mixed pebble-sand further north.
Popular recovery spots: Çalış central promenade, all-inclusive hotel frontages, northern sandy stretch, sunset-bar waterline
Fethiye Marina & Harbour Front
Ece Saray Marina and the harbour piers host the 12 Islands day-tour fleet, private yachts, and long-term berths. The Kordon waterfront runs restaurants, ice-cream kiosks, and the amphitheatre. Rings come off on pontoons, at boat-embarkation moments, and along the waterfront benches.
Popular recovery spots: Ece Saray pontoons, 12 Islands tour piers, Kordon benches and ice-cream strip, amphitheatre steps
Paspatur Old Bazaar & the Town Centre
The Paspatur is the original Fethiye bazaar — narrow lanes paved in cobble and tile, covered walkways, restaurants and shops shoulder-to-shoulder. Dinner losses and browsing losses are the core of our old-town work. The Lycian rock tombs loom above, and the path up to them accounts for an occasional photo-op loss.
Common locations: Paspatur lanes, Hamam Sokak, fish market square, tomb-path viewpoints
12 Islands Boat-Trip Zones
The 12 Islands day cruise is the defining Fethiye activity. Rings are lost during the ladder-entry at swim stops, in shallow water at anchor, and on the boat deck during lunch. If your ring went in at Tersane or Göcek-adjacent anchorages, we'll need the boat's log to plan a return.
Water Recovery
The bay's water is sheltered, clear, and relatively deep close to shore in places. We work to around six metres with waterproof pulse-induction gear, which covers most of the practical loss zones.
Hillside Villas & Pool Decks
The slopes above Fethiye — Kayaköy, Hisarönü direction, and the Çalış-back lanes — hold villa rentals with pool decks and stepped gardens. We handle those on the same visit as bay-side searches.
Why Choose Ring Seekers Fethiye?
12 Islands Gulet Experience
More of our water recoveries happen at gulet anchorages than anywhere else on the coast. We understand the boat schedules, the swim-stop patterns, and how to search around an anchored gulet.
Çalış Pebble-Sand Transition Knowledge
The Çalış substrate changes along its length. We adjust detection calibration based on where exactly the loss happened.
Paspatur Cobble & Tile Experience
The bazaar's paving catches rings differently than open-street cobble. We've searched the old town often enough to know the settlement patterns.
Proven Track Record
Years of recoveries across Çalış, the marina, the old bazaar, and the bay's outer coves.
Saltwater & Sand-Buried Recovery
We're clear about this upfront. Call or message us and we'll explain the cost structure for both outcomes before any work is committed.
Multilingual Service
English, Turkish, German, and Russian — the set for this part of the coast.
Gulet Captain Coordination
We maintain working relationships with the 12 Islands day-tour operators and can coordinate an on-boat or boat-return search with the captain.
Discreet & Professional
Respectful work at marina properties, restaurant terraces, and private villas. No drawn attention.
Hotel Beach Access
We coordinate with the Çalış hotel duty managers for beach-frontage access.
Full Bay & Cove Coverage
From Çalış through the marina round to Şövalye and out to the 12 Islands zone.
Understanding Fethiye's Search Conditions
Çalış Substrate Variation
Çalış is not one beach — it's a long strip whose composition changes as you walk north. The southern end is coarser pebble. The middle is mixed. The northern end is sandy. Detection settings must match the specific spot of loss.
Bay Clarity & Afternoon Wind
The bay is sheltered on three sides and typically very clear in the morning. The afternoon west wind stirs surface silt along the Çalış exposure from about 2 PM. Morning water work is significantly more productive.
12 Islands Anchorage Conditions
The day-tour anchorages — Tersane, Akvaryum, Kleopatra Bay — each have different depth profiles and sand/weed mixes. Tersane's sand bottom is the easiest to search. Akvaryum's mixed substrate is harder.
Paspatur Cobble & Tile
The old bazaar is paved in a mix of historic cobble and modern tile. Rings on tile bounce and travel further than expected. Rings in historic cobble joints stay put.
Lycian Tomb Path Exposure
The path up to the Amyntas tombs crosses scrubby rocky ground. Rings removed for photos at the viewpoints can be knocked into the slope. Recovery is possible with care.
Seasonal Gulet Rhythm
Peak season runs May through October with daily 12 Islands departures from Ece Saray and Fethiye harbour. Shoulder season has fewer boats but the same visitors — bay access is actually easier in spring and autumn.

FAQs – Fethiye
How quickly can you respond in Fethiye?
Town and Çalış are usually within a few hours. Searches that require reaching a 12 Islands anchorage depend on the boat's schedule — we coordinate directly with the captain.
Do you cover all of Fethiye?
Yes. The town centre, Çalış, the marina, Paspatur, the tomb path, the villa hills, and the 12 Islands tour zone.
I'm on holiday in Fethiye and lost my ring. Can you help?
Holidaymakers are the majority of our work here. We speak English, German, and Russian, and we're used to working around a flight-departure window or a gulet-day timing.
I lost my ring at a 12 Islands swim stop. Is it recoverable?
Often yes. Tersane and Kleopatra Bay have sandy bottoms where pulse-induction detection performs well. Akvaryum's mixed substrate is harder. Give us the exact anchor point from the captain and we'll plan a return trip.
What are the most common places people lose rings in Fethiye?
By volume: 12 Islands swim stops, Çalış waterline during the sunset swim, Paspatur restaurant dinners, Ece Saray pontoons. Occasional recoveries at the Lycian tomb viewpoints when rings come off for photos.
How much does your service cost?
Pricing varies depending on what's involved. Reach out by phone or WhatsApp with the details of your loss and we'll explain the cost structure transparently before any work begins. We process payment by card.
What payment methods do you accept?
Card payment only — we accept Visa and Mastercard.
Can you search in the water at Çalış or in the bay?
Yes. We use waterproof pulse-induction gear to around six metres. Morning water work is best — the afternoon west wind reduces visibility along Çalış from about 2 PM.
I lost my ring on a gulet trip. Can you go back with the boat?
Usually yes. The 12 Islands operators are familiar with this request and many will let us join the next scheduled day or run a dedicated return trip. We coordinate directly with the captain.
I lost my ring several days ago. Is it too late?
Depends on where. Paspatur cobble can hold rings for weeks. Çalış hotel frontages are groomed daily. Gulet anchor sites depend on boat traffic. Tell us the specifics and we'll give you an honest read.
