Savusavu
Looking for a Ring Search in Savusavu?
Vanua Levu's Hidden Paradise — Recovery Across Cousteau, Koro Sun, Namale and the Savusavu Bay Front.
Savusavu is the largest town on Vanua Levu, Fiji's second-largest island, and the gateway to a different side of the country — quieter, less developed, and home to some of the country's most exclusive resorts: Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort, Koro Sun Resort & Rainforest Spa, Namale Resort & Spa, and the Savusavu Yacht Club. The town wraps around Savusavu Bay with its hot-springs main street and copra-shed marina. Ring Seekers Savusavu reaches Vanua Levu by domestic flight and works the resort properties, the bay shoreline, and the marina.
Reaching Every Part of Savusavu
Savusavu is reached via Fiji Link or Northern Air domestic flights from Nadi (a short while). The town and resorts are then reached by road from Savusavu Airport.
The geography is unusual for Fiji — a deep protected bay (Savusavu Bay) with mountainous green slopes, a copra-shed yacht marina, hot springs in the town centre, and resort properties scattered along the coastline within a 15-minute drive. Cousteau is at the western end of the bay, Koro Sun and Namale are east toward the Hibiscus Highway, and the Tui Tai Adventure Cruises mooring is in the harbour.
Response time: 5–A few hours from Nadi via flight scheduling. Faster within Vanua Levu.

Why Choose Ring Seekers Savusavu?
Vanua Levu Mobilisation Set-Up
Domestic-flight access is normal for us. Most ring-search teams aren't set up for the second island.
Cousteau, Koro Sun, Namale Familiarity
All three exclusive resorts coordinate with our recoveries.
Copra Shed Marina Knowledge
Yacht-charter boarding zone, silty marina bed — different recovery technique than open beach.
Hot-Springs Foreshore Search
The town's bay-front sand has its own pattern — resident foot traffic and tourist hot-spring visits.
Volcanic-Coral-Sand Calibration
Vanua Levu's beach sand is a darker volcanic-coral mix. Detector tuned.

Understanding Savusavu's Search Conditions
Sheltered Deep Bay
Savusavu Bay is mostly protected from open swell. Calmer water than open coast.
Volcanic-Coral Sand Mix
Vanua Levu sand is darker than Mamanuca coral sand and lighter than Coral Coast volcanic. Mixed grain.
Marina Silt
Copra Shed marina has a silty mangrove-influenced bed. Different recovery.
Cyclonic Bay Reshape
Savusavu Bay's exposed eastern entrance can let storm swell into the bay. Cyclonic seasons reshape the foreshore.
Hot-Spring Foreshore Mix
The town's hot-spring outflow mixes with bay sand — slightly mineralised search zone.
Reef-Flat Snorkel Zones
Cousteau's snorkel reef and Lesiaceva Point reefs are textbook low-tide targets.

Yes. Recreation, dive shop, and security teams coordinate with our recoveries.
Koro Sun and Namale — same?
Yes. All three exclusive Savusavu properties coordinate with us.

At low tide on the reef flat, yes.
Hot-springs foreshore — searchable?
Yes. The bay-front sand around the hot springs has its own search pattern.
Cyclone passed last week — can you still search?
Yes — post-cyclone searches are common. We adapt to the reshaped beach.
Vanua Levu — actually reachable from Nadi same-day?

How much does your service cost?
Because every recovery is unique, pricing is agreed at the time of booking rather than published in advance. Call us with the details and we'll explain everything clearly. Card-only payment.
